Job Description
The General Manager – India will play a key leadership role in shaping the success of Leica Biosystems within the region. This role requires a dynamic and strategic professional to lead sales, marketing, and operations across India, in alignment with the company’s broader APAC vision.
Key Responsibilities:

Formulate and execute high-impact sales and marketing strategies to drive both short- and long-term revenue growth.

Lead a sales team comprising country managers and oversee all product segments within the Leica Biosystems portfolio.

Manage top-line revenue and bottom-line operating expenses for the region.

Take full responsibility for sales administration and staff planning.

Collaborate closely with Leica product managers and distributors to develop customer relationships in line with corporate policies.

Supervise strategic negotiations and contribute to the development of annual operating plans.

Work alongside commercial excellence analysts, product management, and senior leadership to build actionable strategies.

Establish performance targets with distributors and monitor progress throughout the year.

Promote brand awareness among industry leaders, hospital staff, and procurement departments in coordination with distribution partners.

Drive the growth of Leica testimonial institutions in key regions and ensure timely follow-up during evaluation phases.
