Role Description:

Hitachi Energy is looking for a Contract, Bid, and Proposal Management Senior Professional to join their team in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. In this senior-level role, you will take responsibility for administrating, consulting, and negotiating product/service contracts with external customers. You will be integral in developing pre-sales contract strategies and working closely with sales, marketing, and business management teams to structure proposals, contracts, and bid documents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop pre-sales contract strategies and collaborate with internal teams to structure bids and proposals.

• Negotiate contracts in alignment with business objectives and manage contract amendments and renegotiations to accommodate scope changes.

• Ensure the fulfillment of all contractual obligations from contracting parties.

• Work independently with limited supervision, managing complex and sometimes difficult problems.

• Coach and review the work of lower-level professionals within the team.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in contract management, bid proposals, or similar roles.

• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Advanced knowledge of proposal documentation and stakeholder negotiation.

• Prior experience in energy, infrastructure, or engineering projects preferred.

• Legal qualification not required but familiarity with legal terminology is beneficial.

Compensation:

The average annual salary for a Contract, Bid, and Proposal Management Senior Professional in Chennai ranges between ₹10,00,000 and ₹15,00,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

Work Environment:

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
