Job Description:

HDFC Bank is hiring a Technical Appraiser for our locations in Kottayam and Muvattupuzha. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing property value and providing technical evaluations related to loan approvals. This is a critical role in our loan processing and verification team, requiring both technical expertise and fieldwork.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct technical appraisals of land and buildings offered as loan security.

• Visit property sites to evaluate their current condition and stage of construction.

• Verify technical documents including building approvals, site plans, and cost estimates.

• Ensure that all documentation complies with local building regulations and rules.

• Maintain clear records of site observations and recommend loan amounts based on your assessments.

• Interact professionally with customers and channel partners to gather necessary information and manage relationships.

Candidate Requirements:

• Education: B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering with at least 60% marks.

• Experience: Minimum 2 years preferred in property appraisal, valuation, or civil engineering-related work. Freshers with strong academic backgrounds are also encouraged to apply.

• Good communication skills in English and Malayalam.

• Ability to travel locally for site inspections.

Salary Range: Upto ₹3.2 LPA to ₹5 LPA (based on experience and skills)
