Role Overview
\As a Lead Engineer, you’ll play a hands-on leadership role in designing and developing scalable, high-performance systems. You'll lead engineering best practices, contribute directly to core systems, and collaborate with teams across product, data science, and operations. This is a key position in building a next-gen FinTech platform for India.
Key Responsibilities

Design and develop core components of Tata Digital's FinTech platform.

Write clean, efficient code and conduct code reviews.

Lead system architecture and own critical services.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement modern technologies.

Ensure high code quality through automated testing and CI/CD.

Mentor junior engineers and uphold a strong engineering culture.

Drive operational excellence with a focus on system reliability and performance.

Stay updated with the latest in software engineering and apply innovations to product development.
What We’re Looking For

8+ years of experience in software development, with strong coding skills.

Background in building scalable systems in FinTech domains such as lending, cards, or investments.

Proficiency in at least one major language like Java, Python, Go, or C++.

Experience in leading teams or projects while still being hands-on with coding.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent (Master’s degree preferred).

Full SDLC experience including code standards, reviews, testing, and deployment.
Salary Expectation
The expected salary for this role ranges from ₹40,00,000 to ₹60,00,000 per annum, depending on experience and skillset.
