Job Description:

Axis Bank is seeking an experienced professional to join as Branch Operations Head. This role involves managing daily branch operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and implementing strategies to enhance productivity and financial performance.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Oversee daily branch operations, including cash handling, account management, and customer service.

Ensure customer issues and complaints are resolved promptly while maintaining high service standards.

Strengthen key customer relationships to drive sustained business growth.

Manage account balances and achieve cross-sell targets.

Monitor cash retention limits and prevent income leakage.

Ensure adherence to banking rules, regulations, and anti-money laundering policies.

Review operations reports, track transactions, and address audit queries.

Train and mentor customer service officers on banking products and policies.

Qualification & Eligibility:

Graduate/Post-Graduate (MBA in Marketing preferred) from a recognized institution.

NCFM and AMFI certifications preferred.

5 to 8 years of experience in banking operations.

Skills Required:

Strong knowledge of banking products, services, and regulatory norms.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and the local language.

Ability to manage complex client situations and risk factors.

Strong problem-solving skills in a dynamic work environment.

Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines.
