About the Position
We are seeking a Big Data Lead who will manage large-scale data sets beyond the capacity of traditional database systems. This role involves designing and implementing data processing jobs, ensuring data security and compliance, and transforming raw data into actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage customer project priorities and ensure timely execution.
Analyze and assess business requirements using structured processes.
Design and implement Big Data solutions, including data models and visualizations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy scalable solutions.
Deliver high-quality solutions within tight timelines.
Provide innovative approaches to enhance system performance.
Contribute to team growth by sharing expertise and learning from peers.
Required Expertise:
6+ years of experience designing and developing enterprise application solutions for distributed systems.
Deep understanding of the Big Data Hadoop ecosystem, including:
Sqoop, Hive, Pig, Flume
Hadoop, HDFS, Cluster Management
HBase, Talend, NoSQL Databases
Apache Spark or other real-time Big Data processing frameworks (Preferred)
Proficiency in Java or Big Data technologies (a plus).
