Job Role: Automation Tester
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute automation test scripts for complex test scenarios across multiple technologies.
Work with UI automation tools like Selenium and develop automation frameworks.
Perform automated API testing using Rest Assured or equivalent tools.
Utilize Java programming for scripting, debugging, and solving logical problems.
Collaborate in an Agile, BDD-driven development environment.
Work with relational and NoSQL databases such as Oracle, Teradata, Hadoop, and MongoDB.
Integrate automation tests with CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
Use testing frameworks such as Cucumber, TestNG, or JUnit.
Ensure QA best practices and participate in sprint ceremonies.
Must-Have Skills:
Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience in automation
Strong Java knowledge and object-oriented programming
Experience in UI automation with Selenium
Hands-on experience with API automation and Rest Assured
Knowledge of QA methodologies and software testing practices
Ability to write and debug automation scripts
Proficient in BDD frameworks and database testing
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience with Jira, HP ALM, or other bug-tracking tools
Familiarity with Agile development processes
Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins
