Job Role:
Diploma Engineer Apprentice (Fresher)

Location:
Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh

Job Responsibility:
The Diploma Engineer Apprentice will assist in railway engine manufacturing and maintenance activities. Responsibilities include supporting senior engineers on the shop floor, learning assembly and fitting processes, understanding mechanical and electrical systems, following safety and quality standards, handling basic documentation, and gaining hands-on experience on Indian Railway engine projects.

Qualification:
Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, or EEE
Only 2023, 2024, and 2025 passout candidates are eligible

Skills:
Basic technical knowledge of the respective diploma trade, willingness to learn industrial processes, discipline, teamwork, ability to follow instructions, and interest in railway engine manufacturing projects.

Salary:
Stipend ₹16,000 per month (26 working days, 8 hours duty)
DBT benefit ₹1,500 extra per month
Overtime paid at double rate

Other Details:
8 hours working shift, subsidized canteen facility available, attendance benefit of one extra day payment if working more than 20 days in a month, excellent learning opportunity due to limited contractors involved, and exposure to high-value Indian Railway engine projects.
