About the Role:
As a News Analyst, you will support algorithm training and content quality processes by working with real-time news data, social media content, and digital information streams. This role sits at the intersection of news, technology, and data analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and analyze real-time data from multiple sources
Identify and correct errors in news alerts and captions
Verify information using social media and other platforms
Write and edit captions for online and social media content
Apply business rules for data validation and quality assurance
Improve dataset output by auditing algorithmic results
Stay updated with new policies, workflows, and procedures
Adapt quickly in a fast-paced and changing environment
Required Skills:
Strong interest in news, media, and current affairs
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Knowledge of journalism, copy editing, or mass communication
Good organizational and multitasking ability
Detail-oriented with strong analytical thinking
Ability to work in rotational or 24/7 project shifts
Professional proficiency in a foreign language is a plus
English proficiency level B2 or above
