Opportunity: Network Engineer Role
As a Network Engineer at Infosys, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, validating, and supporting advanced networking solutions. You will work on cutting-edge technologies such as SDWAN, SD LAN, Data Center Networks, and Wireless solutions to ensure seamless network operations for global clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Resolve incidents and problems related to Routing, Switching, Wireless, SDWAN, SD LAN, and Data Center Networks.
Ensure fast-track resolution of P1 & MIM issues within SLA.
Work closely with OEM vendors to implement permanent fixes.
Manage capacity and change management in line with industry best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet service level agreements (SLAs).
Handle escalations and act as a trusted advisor for customers.
Monitor network performance metrics, including bandwidth utilization, latency, and packet loss.
Prepare detailed reports based on business requirements.
Technical and Professional Requirements:
Deep understanding of network protocols: SDWAN, SDLAN, TCP/IP, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, WLC, WAP, Spanning Tree Protocol.
Experience in Data Center Architecture (ACI, Spine & Leaf, hierarchical vs. flat architecture).
Hands-on experience with SDWAN technologies such as Viptela, Silver Peak, Versa, Aryaka.
Proficiency in monitoring and ticketing tools: SolarWinds, Cisco Prime, Cisco DNAC, BMC, Jira, ServiceNow.
Experience with network load balancers (F5, NetScaler, VMware AVI).
Working knowledge of DNS, DHCP, IPAM, and Cloud Proxy.
Preferred Skills:
Expertise in Data Networking WAN technologies.
Strong knowledge of Cisco ACI, Cisco LAN switches, and SDWAN technologies.
Certifications in Cisco, SDN, and NFV are an added advantage.

Ability to handle ambiguity and make data-driven decisions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Industry-leading OEM vendor certifications at the professional/expert level.
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Science, Technology (B.Tech, M.Tech, BSc, BCA, MSc, MCA).
